Roberto Troisi, MSc MD PhD FEBS (Transpl; HPB), is Professor of Surgery at the Federico II University of Naples and Chairman of the Department of HPB, Small Bowel and Liver Transplantation at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (Riyadh, KSA) He received his surgical training in Naples, Brussels and at the Ghent University Hospital ended by the PhD Degree in 2003 From 2009 to 2018 he acted as Chairman of the Dept. of General HPB Surgery of this University Hospital. He is Vice President of the ELITA and since 2010 director of the ALLIVER Masterclasses. His main interest is focused on transplantation of partial liver grafts and living donor hepatectomy and he established the Belgian Registry on Laparoscopic Liver Surgery. Member of many scientific societies including ESOT and ILTS, he is reviewer for the major surgical journals with more than 240 A1 publications (HI 36) and 10 chapters.
