As rapid strides continue to be made in liver transplantation, there has never been more convergence of scientific enquiry globally to address issues affecting all of us and our patients; hence the conference theme: “beyond borders”.  Examples include live donor safety with increasing adoption of minimally invasive donor hepatectomy, the scourge of metabolic associated steatotic liver disease and its newer targeted therapies, tumour biology-based expanded criteria for HCC for both, LDLT and DDLT, increasing donor pool with ABO-i and machine perfusion in LDLT and DDLT settings respectively, and many more. We have endeavoured to bring the best minds together to share their experience and expertise to enable all transplant physicians to take better care of their patients across geographies.

We do hope you will enjoy being with us on this journey.
